Equine 74® Core Connect

Equine 74® Core Connect is a natural complementary feed for horses and ponies.

It can support joy of movement, mobility, and elasticity by accompanying natural regulatory processes in the body on a nutrient basis.

The basis of Equine 74® Core Connect is a fermented organic hemp seed whose nutrient availability is optimized through a four-year fermentation process. It is supplemented with calcareous marine algae Lithothamnion Glaciale (maerl).

How does Equine 74® Core Connect work?

Equine 74® Core Connect starts where mobility actually originates: in regulation. Stiffness, lack of suppleness, and prolonged warm-up phases are often not purely a structural issue.

If the body can no longer regulate itself well due to, for example, strain or ageing, an imbalance occurs in the so-called endocannabinoid system (ECS), which is responsible for regulation: endocannabinoids – the body’s own messenger substances that have a balancing effect and contribute to maintaining internal equilibrium – are no longer produced in sufficient quantities or are broken down too quickly.

Equine 74® Core Connect can support the ECS by providing omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids through the fermented organic hemp seed – as building blocks that the body uses for its own endocannabinoid synthesis.

How is Equine 74® Core Connect administered?

We recommend feeding Equine 74® Core Connect twice daily. If this is not possible, feed the full daily amount once a day.

Simply mix Equine 74® Core Connect into the usual bucket feed.

Recommended daily amount:
Ponies: 2 x 5 g / day
Horses: 2 x 10 g / day

1 measuring scoop = 10 g

Note on tournament use

Equine74 Core Connect is not intended for horses participating in tournaments or competitions governed by anti-doping regulations (e.g., FN/ADMR, FEI, or comparable associations).

For competition horses, there is a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding certain substances derived from the hemp plant – even minute traces can be detected during doping tests. Those responsible for sport horses should always consult the current regulations of the relevant association before use. Based on current data, a safe withdrawal period that guarantees a negative doping test result cannot be scientifically substantiated.

Equine 74® Core Connect contains trace amounts of naturally occurring salicylic acid derived from plant-based raw materials. Based on current scientific literature and the FEI/IFHA thresholds (6.5 µg/mL plasma, 750 µg/mL urine), the risk of a positive doping test result is very low when the product is administered as recommended.

As a precaution, we recommend discontinuing use 48 hours prior to competitions if other substances containing salicylates are being administered at the same time. However, responsibility for compliance with the applicable regulations lies with the rider or trainer.

Note on hemp seeds

The hemp seed used to produce Equine74 Core Connect contains no detectable tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

Can I feed my horse Equine 74® Core Connect safely over a long period of time – how safe is it?

Equine 74® Core Connect can be fed to horses safely on a long-term basis. It is designed for daily feeding – not as a short-term course, but as continuous support for the body’s own regulatory processes.

Is Equine 74® Core Connect a medication?

Equine 74® Core Connect is not a medication. It is a complementary feed that accompanies the body’s own regulatory processes via the endocannabinoid system – not a therapy and not a substitute for veterinary treatment.

If you suspect pain or illness in your horse, contact your veterinarian.

Is there a withdrawal period for competitions?

Equine 74® Core Connect is not intended for horses that participate in tournaments or competitions in which anti-doping regulations apply (e.g. FN/ADMR, FEI, or comparable associations).

For competition horses, there is an absolute zero tolerance for certain constituents of the hemp plant – even small traces can be relevant in doping controls. Persons responsible for sport horses should always observe the current provisions of the relevant association before use. A reliable withdrawal period that guarantees a negative doping result cannot be scientifically substantiated on the basis of the current state of data.
